Specialist in All Styles, Master of None

If you're like me-- a "specialist in all styles" in your life and life's work and someone asks you what you "do," you brace.

If someone said to you, "Give me your elevator pitch of what you do to help people in 20 seconds or less," you:

A) want to throw up in your mouth a little bit

B) want to run or just disappear

C) rise to the task and force an answer... except that answer doesn't even come CLOSE to encompassing the scope of what you actually do or what magic or medicine you bring forth when working with others.

D) conceptually "get" the idea of a niche but every fiber in your entire being feels suffocated by the claustrophobia of chunking down your multi-passionate and multidimensional nature into something that you hope comes across as not sounding too crazy to the normies.

For multi-passionate folks like me, this has been the bane of our existence since we started our life's work as soul-led mentors, conscious creators, maverick mystics and spiritual visionaries.

Because there's very little about us that is traditional or conventional.

The idea of niching-down in order to be more relatable in our expertise feels like less of an opportunity and more like a sentence.

That's exactly what makes our unique energetic alchemy so potent and full of depth.

Which leads me to this point...

We are already seeing a bifurcation happening in the mentoring and energy healing wellness industry-- between the "attention economy" and the "wisdom economy."

There are those who are still trying to get people's attention with wild claims and clickbait but have lost the trust of legions of people looking for actual help and there are those who are clearly distinctive as the ones who get results for their clients because they operate from a calm certainty and wealth of wisdom that doesn't need fanfare.

Many of the people I work with identify as neurodivergent-- not as a label of limitation, but as language that explains why they’ve always felt wired differently.

I avoid self-diagnosis as much as I can and I want to be ethically sensitive here, but as far as neurodivergence goes, I tick all these boxes and then some:

📌Non-linear, associative, web-like thinking

📌Big-picture pattern recognition, connecting across disciplines

📌Rapid idea generation

📌Deep research spirals into topics of interest

➰Heightened sensory awareness (sound, light, energy, emotion)

➰Strong internal feedback about what feels aligned or misaligned

➰Overstimulation in chaotic environments

➰Periods of shutdown, burnout, or withdrawal after overexertion

☑️Feeling “different” growing up

☑️Masking to fit professional norms

☑️Preferring depth over small talk

☑️Justice sensitivity and strong values orientation

☑️Being told you’re “too much” or “not focused enough”

🔶Multi-passionate interests

🔶Resistance to hyper-niching

🔶Bursts of innovation followed by recovery periods

🔶Difficulty forcing yourself into rigid specialization

And there's so much more to talk about here...

But... if you actually look at these markers closely and perceive them through the lens of a different context that I'm about to share with you, you might begin to understand what I'm laying down here as an opportunity to finally and fully OWN your perceptual diversity as a badge of honor.

What if what most people label as neurodivergent is actually multi-passionate thinking, feeling and behaving, compressed into rigid inflexibility by a world that has historically favored specialization instead of perceptual diversity?

And what if what we call neurodivergence is a gift and a gateway to previewing what is next for humanity?

Think about it-- the Industrial Revolution introduced specialization, and the favoring of efficiency was born.

It found its way into our education systems and the institutional learning paradigm hasn't changed since.

But humans have.

Consciousness has.

The entire planet has.

And in this time of endings, we will need the dreamers, the big-picture thinkers, the mentally and emotionally supple, empathic innovators who are highly tuned to internal feedback about what is useful and true rather than relying on dusty, tired, external systems of rigid compartmentalization, already on their way out.

YOU are poised perfectly to act now to change the existing coaching paradigm as multi-passionate mentors, specialists in all styles but masters of none, creative innovators embodied in values-based self-leadership, and those who are endowed with a wealth of ideas and insights that seem crazy in a world that's already gone crazy anyway.

YOU are on the leading edge of what's next for innovating New Earth and creating new structures to guide humanity forward into greater unity-- paradoxically initiated through perceptual diversity.

And you must believe in yourself, no matter what.

🌀You must stay supple and flexible-- MOVE and stretch your body often to charge the light in the piezoelectric fibrous network of the fascia and initiate thought into action as a flex of this movement. Let this be your new momentum of flow.

🌀You must honor and cultivate your ability to recognize patterns with overlapping insights and ideas that merge into something totally new. That's not crazy, that's innovation that starts in the imagination and YOU are uniquely over-qualified to do that.

🌀You must stay sovereign and true to your intuition, even when the world wants you to deflate your genius and chunk down your magic and medicine into an elevator pitch.

🌀You must be the source of your own stability and teach your nervous system how to hold space for growth in safety-- even when the world shakes and groans and dismantles under the weight of what is collapsing and you find yourself reaching for an external port in the storm that might not be there next week.

In the next 10 years, specialization will be a fossilized idea.

Artificial Intelligence and the Age of Automation are already taking care of that.
